Car crash in Studio City claims 1 life, injures another

Although most drivers in California and elsewhere follow the rule of the road to stay safe, they cannot control the actions of other motorists. Around 2:00 a.m. during the morning of March 24, California Highway Patrol Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident. The collision occurred at the interchange between the 101 Freeway and the 134 Freeway. The crash involved two vehicles that were not identified.

The collision was so powerful, it apparently caused one of the cars to split in two. The other vehicle sustained serious damage. As a result of the wreck, a 20-year-old woman lost her life, and at least one other individual was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The crash is still under investigation.
