Car crash in Sacramento County kills 2, injures another

According to reports, a 21-year-old driver in an unidentified vehicle was traveling west on Vintage Park Drive near Kirkton Court in Sacramento County. He was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car and slid through a wooden fence and struck a tree in someone’s front yard. Authorities suspect alcohol impairment contributed to the crash.

As a result of the collision, the driver was killed, as was one of the passengers. The other passenger, a 29-year-old whose identity was not given was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious but not life-threatening injuries. No one inside the house was injured.
